Venture Trends, Startup Support, and Kazakhstan's Export: Results of the Forum in Kazan

The Russian Venture Forum has concluded in Kazan. Approximately 300 speakers and experts from 25 countries discussed key trends in venture capital markets, investments in technological entrepreneurship, late-stage startups, and international expansion.

As part of the forum, thematic sessions were held covering a wide range of issues—from industrial transformation to investments in sustainable development. The forum program also included a startup exhibition, a conference dedicated to technological leadership (which served as a platform for interaction between entrepreneurs, investors, and business community representatives), as well as educational lectures by leading experts in the venture capital market in the Tech Shorts format.

The event featured a speech by Rinat Kaliyev, Regional Director of Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan JSC in Tatarstan. He informed participants about the Agency’s support measures aimed at promoting the export of Kazakhstani goods and services.

“Kazakhstan’s scientific and technological products, including IT services, are demonstrating positive export growth dynamics. We are ready to facilitate the implementation of such projects through private investment with state export support, including the use of tools provided by the Agency. The role of the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan in promoting exports and attracting investment lies in supporting domestic exporters, enhancing their competitiveness in international markets, and creating favorable conditions for foreign investors,” noted Mr. Kaliyev.

According to him, attracting investment in export-oriented projects is ensured by creating a favorable investment environment, informing potential investors about opportunities, cooperating with Kazakhstani exporters, and developing partnerships with the financial sector to support investors.
